How does one follow Messiah, without living by the Instructions He lived by?

WARNING:  I jumped into a forum group without reading all the fine print instructions.  And, if you think 613 laws of Torah is too much, you should try to keep up with all the "laws of grace" in some of these religious groups.  At any rate, thinking it would be a place for at least some healthy discussion, and perhaps sharing some of the things I've come to understand, I joined.  Within 24 hours, some of my posts were deleted and I was being instructed, censored and monitored.
I had missed something that is quite profound.  This particular group actually says that 7th Day Sabbath observance is a false teaching.  Well, if it is, Messiah set the wrong example, because he kept it.  Anyway, just as the Pharisees tried to silence him, I was given a choice to change my ways, stop posting or be banned.  And that's not the government!

I don't think we can truly follow the Messiah without following the Instructions that he followed.  I was brought up in a man-made religion that was really of no effect.  I am still unlearning things.  Still seeking the Truth.

I was also brought up in a man made Church. I would like to be able to tell you that I have been seeking the truth my enntire life but that would not be accurate. I did when I was a child and lost hope. I knew what i was being told was not the truth either by the feeling in my heart or "because it's what I said". I am now involved with someone that wants what I want and is so much further in their search for the truth. It has been such along time and such a battle of my faith that I am having a hard time just giving away my false belief of control of my life. I so much want to be right with G-d. I see it in these people and I want it too.

Without a doubt, the most difficult religious belief to do away with, is the belief in man made tradition!  That is how the Pharisees missed who Messiah was.  This time in history in which we find ourselves is also full of man made traditions and teachings that have nothing to do with G-d or His Holy Word.  I've been amazed in my own personal journey back to G-d and in walking with Him, I'm really now very much outside of mainstream American Christianity.  It would seem to follow Messiah and obey G-d's Word is truly a different religion than most of us were taught in church or synagogue.  Now that I have tasted the goodness of YHWH, G-d, I certainly couldn't settle for the old stuff . . .
